In a speech to the White House on the situation in the Middle East, Biden said that “Israel“ has proposed a proposed ceasefire in Gaza and the release of hostages in three phases, which has been sent to #Hamas via Qatar. Biden added that the proposed first phase of 6-week would spend a ceasefire, Israel’s withdrawal, hostage release and dead bodies. Biden said that the second phase would see the release of the remaining hostages, including soldiers, and the continuance of the ceasefire, as for the third phase of post-war and reconstruction. The US president said the continuation of this conflict would deplete “Israel“’s capabilities and increase its isolation. He pointed out that US negotiators have been focused over the past few days on a ceasefire in Gaza in favor of an end to the war, the release of hostages and a better future for Gaza without a Hamas movement. Biden continued that “Israel has the right to defend itself and if Hamas fails to comply, “Israel“ will resume defending itself.“ He also said that “this deal will lead to calm in the region, including the signing of a historic agreement between “Israel“ and #SaudiArabia.“ Biden called for Hamas to approve a new offer from “Israel“ to release hostages in exchange for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, saying this would be the best way to start ending this deadly conflict. Biden added, “Ceasefire, that aid will be safely and effectively distributed to all those who need it.“ Biden said that Palestinians have been subjected to hell and killed a very large number of civilians, adding that there is a better future to determine the fate of the #Palestinian people. Biden urged the “Israeli“ leadership to support the agreement despite any pressure, demanding them to narrate and think about what would happen “if we lost this opportunity.“ Biden continued saying, “I know some in “Israel“ will disagree with this plan and they are members of government.“ Biden also assured that the U.S. would help formulate a solution on the #Lebanese border that would allow residents of the threatened areas north of “Israel“ to return home.
