Watercolour Painting: How to Paint Trees

The video starts by explaining how the light and shade is determined. By holding the brush horizontally the basic tree shape is established using a variety of tones. The stick end of the brush is used to paint small branches. I also explain how to paint a tree trunk with plain water using wet on wet techniques, before finishing the tree trunk with a flat dry brush effect.
