Protest broken up: Police remove tents from encampment at UVA
Police have dismantled tents at the Palestinian solidarity encampment in Charlottesville’s University of Virginia. Acting after five days, officers moved in on the protesters’ base. Meanwhile, students at the University of California in Irvine vow to stay on campus until their demands are fulfilled.
