The finest mountain bikers in the world fine tuned their form before the Rio Olympics at the Hadleigh Park International race. The UCI HC class Elite Mens’ race saw Hot favourite for the Rio Olympic Gold, Scott-Odlo MTB Team’s Nino Schurter, showed he was in form after dominating the event, taking the win in 1hr 21min 20 from Luca Braidot, with Matthias Stirnemann in third. Two-time Olympic champion BMC’s Julien Absalon finished fourth.
