In this second episode of “Sylvester Stallone Revisited,“ we look at one of Sly’s seminal films, FIRST BLOOD, which would introduce the world to his second iconic character, John Rambo. In this, the first Rambo film, Sly gives one of his most nuanced performances in what’s a wholly different kind of film than the explosive, action-packed sequels it spawned, which are excellent in their own right.
