German Chancellor Scholz rejected the possibility of exchanging long-range missiles with the UK
German Chancellor Scholz rejected the possibility of exchanging long-range missiles with the UK.
He said this at a joint briefing with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Bloomberg reports.
“As for this weapon system, I believe that, given its impact and place of use, it cannot be used without control and that the participation of German soldiers cannot be justified even outside Ukraine. That is why I said that I do not consider their use justified and that the question is not how to do it – indirectly or directly. My answer is clear,“ Scholz said.
Earlier, a proposal was made to transfer German Taurus missiles to London, which will allow the British to send their Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine.
