Full title reads: “Nr. Wantage. Britain Goes Dry! Water famine becomes a really serious problem in rural England.“ East Challow, Near Wantage, Berkshire. People stand around a traditional Village water pump. A young boy is pumping but no water is forthcoming. A woman examines the pump and shakes her head at discovering no water, she and her friends walk off carrying empty buckets. A horse drawn water bowser brings a supply of water to the village square.
