How to make a Custom Corset Pattern -- By Taping Your Body

So this is the method I used and this is the pattern I made for my Hawkgirl costume. This corset will be holding up giant angel/hawk wings so i made the back very tall with straps to make it more secure. You can tape yourself in any design that you want. I used blue painter’ tape or masking tape. Duck-tape will also work but I found painter’s tape was easier to rip and cut as well as draw on. Have fun and good luck! Find me: ☆Facebook -
