There is a “male” version of the song titled “Your Tenderness”, with the same melody but different lyrics written by Sergei Grebennikov and Nikolai Dobronravov in 1966. The main melody of the song reveals a complete, note to note, resemblance to the musical phrase from the third movement (“Sentimental Sarabande”) of the “Simple Symphony” by Benjamin Britten
