Full title reads: “France. Wine ... while you wait! Once a year the famous Argenteuil grapes are pressed in a centuries old press in public outside the Town Hall, & sold at a 1d a glass!“ Argenteuil, France. A band lead a parade down a crowded street. A group of horn players are moved along in a horse drawn cart. Crowds of people in the town. A float on a decorated lorry carries men and women and grapes. An old grape press is on the back of the lorry. More decorated floats move along the streets. A man pours a bin of grapes into a large wine press. The grapes are moved around in the press. The press is tightened. Grape juice pours into small barrels. People are served with glasses of juice. M/S of group of men drinking their grape juice / wine.
