Jax makes some Great Faces.

I enjoy Jax a Normal Amount. I enjoy Jax a Normal Amount. I enjoy Jax a Normal Amount. But seriously, I’m trying to understand more complex rigging and stylization in what few moments I have to spare and Jax is a fascinating example of both that I’ve been staring at to try and understand fully. He’s the show’s simplest design and they use that to go WILD with him. I love whenever he’s on screen, It’s really cool to think about how Gooseworx has admitted to having a favourite and how that affects his characterization and role in the show, how it’s mitigated and what drawbacks it ends up having. The Amazing Digital Circus is wildly unconventional for 3D Animation and Jax’s Face is somehow a subtle example of that.
