This is what life is like for the baby monkeys abused by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Each year, dozens of monkeys are born at an NIH facility in Maryland, many intentionally bred to be predisposed to mental illness. Half of the monkeys born each year are separated from their mothers within hours of birth and never returned in order to traumatize them.
