Stanton House, constructed in 1935 in the traditional Cotswold style for a New York businessman, symbolises 20th-century elegance. Nearby, a 19th-century cottage repurposed as a lodge adds to the historical landscape. Throughout the centuries, the villagers of Stanton Fitzwarren have faced numerous challenges, including plagues, wars, and famines.
