Schindler’s List: Ghetto Liquidation Scene + AD / Audio Description

This video forms part of a student project for an Audio-Visual Translation module at DCU. Our group chose to audio-describe this key scene in Schindler’s List to make it accessible to blind and partially-sighted audiences. Neither the original DVD nor the 30-year-anniversary special provides AD in any language, while they do provide a few subtitling options. This is our first attempt at Audio Description and we welcome viewer feedback.
