My Take on Tom Sholz’s Rockman Guitar Effect V3 Get 5 boards in about a week for $22! In this video you see my 3rd attempt at recreating the “Rockman“ Guitar Headphone Amp designed by Tom Scholz. This is the ’“sound of the 80’s“ as heard on all of Boston’s albums and Hysteria by Def Leppard. The sound comes from a mixture of compression, gain, reverb, echo, and delay. Ive used a TL072 op amp for gain and a PT2399 for just about everything else.
