It is thriving with many new developments, including skyscrapers, stadium, grand shopping malls. It is also home to the oldest urban village Shipai as well as most expat communities. The district serves as a transportation hub for the airport and the train to Hong Kong. Travelers can visit the landmark buildings such as Guangzhou International Finance Center and Guangzhou Opera House, go shopping
