RC Sailboat Smaragd (Robbe) meets Int. Dragon 1m (H2o RC Design) on Lake Maschsee

RC Segelboot Smaragd (Robbe) trifft Drachenklasse 1m (H2o RC Design) auf dem Maschsee. Ein Leistungsvergleich ist nur andeutungsweise möglich. Der Gaststeuermann meines Drachen war mehr Anfänger als vermutet. Er fuhr nie hoch am Wind und bewegte den Schothebel nicht bis zu den Anschlägen (seine eigenen Boote segelt er mit Pistolensender). A performance comparison is only possible vaguely. The guest helmsman of my Dragon was more of a beginner than expected. He never went close upwind and did not move the stick for sheeting as far as the stops (he sails his own boats with a pistol transmitter).
