6 Tips and Trick for Knitting Shawls (with Free Knitting Pattern!) | 13 Projects of Halloween

With the release of the second free pattern of 13 Projects of Halloween, I thought I would share 6 tips and tricks that I have learned over the years. These tips can help you with picking up styitches for garter tabs, help with M1L (make one left), M1R (make one right), keeping your track of your lace or shaping, use of life lines, and using stitch features to keep track of where you are in a pattern. You can find the free pattern here: and the link to it’s Ravelry page (where you can also download the pattern) here: This shawl is made with just under three skeins of fingering weight yarn, two in black and one in orange. If you knit one of these please use #13ofHalloween to share your project. I would love to see what you make!
